- I tried to teach my daughter how to ride her bike without training wheels using a technique I read online. She figured it out in ten minutes, faster than I ever did, and immediately asked why it took me so long as a kid.
- I decided to learn woodworking as a new hobby, buying a modest set of tools to start. My first project, a simple shelf, took three weekends and came out slightly crooked, but I've never been prouder of anything.
- My son wanted to enter the school talent show doing magic tricks he'd taught himself from videos. Half the tricks failed on stage, but the audience laughed along with him instead of at him, and he got a standing ovation anyway.
